How to Buy
Buying baby monitor equipment from BabyMonitorsDirect.co.uk could not be easier. Just browse our web site, and click on ‘Add to Basket’ for any items you would like to buy. After you have finished your selection, click on Checkout and complete a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order.
Delivery Charges and Destinations: All order totals above £70 will be SHIPPED FREE Next Working Day to any UK Mainland Address. Where the total order is less than £70 a small delivery charge of £4.99 will be added to the total at Checkout.
We will ship products to UK Offshore (over water) addresses for a small extra cost usually between £9.95 and £19.95. The additional cost reflects charges passed on to us by our courier, Post Office or other shipping method. We will advise you of this charge by telephone or email after you have completed your purchase. Please note we will only ship product “Over Water” if you agree to pay the carriage charge for delivery and return in the case of returns for any reason. If you do not agree this condition please do not make a purchase for overseas shipment.
Payment Methods
We accept all major UK registered Debit and Credit Cards for payment as well as PayPal. We accept orders from the UK, BFPO addresses, most EU destinations and a number of International Countries. We do not ship to the USA/Canada Polar Regions or any African States
We can arrange for you to Direct Transfer Money into our account, if you wish to pay by this method please contact us by email info@babyMonitorsDirect.co.uk or call (44) 1778 561990 and we will give you the appropriate Bank details. Where payment is via Bank Transfer the order will be shipped AFTER your payment is deposited into our company bank account. In such circumstances we normally ship within 24 hours of receiving your payment.
If you are making a payment from abroad by SWIFT or IBAN you must add the £5.00 bank processing fee to your order total. Our Bankers are HSBC Plc
We will accept UK Bank Cheques on the same basis as above i.e. products will be shipped after the cheque is clear. Please note that until we have confirmed acceptance of your order no sale is made. In the event that we decline to process your order we will contact you by e-mail to confirm this and immediately process a full refund of any monies received.
In the extremely unlikely event of a short shipment of your order or you receive a damaged item please let us know within 5 days of signing for receipt. Please telephone 0870 143 0977. We cannot accept claims after that time.
We will generally only arrange delivery to the address at which the Credit or Debit Card is registered or a business address. If you require delivery to an alternative address this must be noted by you on your order and a signature will be required. We cannot accept responsibility for orders signed for at an alternative address.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges: For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT will be charged.
Credit Card Security We take Credit/Debit Card Security Extremely Seriously Our Credit Card Gateway providers are amongst the largest and most secure in the UK. We do not record your card information and we do not store them on any of our systems. All credited/Debit Card information is encrypted by out service providers. Should we need to collect additional monies from you for reasons such as additional delivery costs we will need to take your card details. Generally we prefer to do this by phone directly into the Encrypted payment gateway which means there are never written down. In cases where your Credit Card/Debit Card details are written down they are Diamond Shredded IMMEDIATELY after processing.
WE NEVER EVER ACCEPT YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DETAILS BY EMAIL. If you need to send us your credit card details we will issue you with a one time use Fax number or we may arrange for you to send them via TEXT, in such cases we will ask you to send information in a manner that keeps your identity private.
