"It's peace of mind that your baby is sleeping safely. No bad points" April 2008 |

"I feel so much more settled now that I have this monitor and I can sleep much better at night knowing that the alarm will sound if my baby stops breathing. It is an excellent product - you just slide the sensor under the mattress and there is a clip to attach the separate monitor to the side of the cot. Great product!!!" April 2008 |

"Very good I know it works as I have taken by baby out of the cot and forgotten to turn it off, very loud which is good. Easy to put in cot and peace of mind, which is very important" April 2008 |

"Takes the worry out of bedtime. I know if my baby ever stops breathing the alarm will go off straight away" March 2008 |

"[good points] Could save out granddaughters life. [bad points] none. January 2008 |

"Really like the two sensor mats - covers entire cot area. Most alternatives only seem to have one mat. The flashing light indicator adds reassurance and makes it easy to check baby is ok from a distance. We live on quite a busy road which generates some vibration. Therefore feel the sensor mat may be a little too sensitive and on occasion it picks up the road vibration. Not sure about the design of the monitor unit hanging on the cotside as a more active baby may be able to interfere with the wire connecting the mate to the unit." January 2008 |

"It just works...brilliant...best thing I've bought apart from nappies" January 2008 |
"Easy to install. Very accurate, almost too accurate, but better than not accurate enough. In terms of cost vs benefit - can't be criticised" January 2008 |

"I think this product is excellent. It gives me 100% peace of mind whilst my baby is asleep. My baby prefers to sleep on her front, which I know the midwives advise that this position isn't safe. If I hadn't had the Respiratory Baby Monitor then I wouldn't feel happy about leaving her to sleep on her front. But as I do use the Respiratory Monitor then I am definitely happy that she is safe. No bad points." January 2008 |

"Just gives you peace of mind - especially since my newborn just would not sleep on his back. Would be even better if it went hand in hand with an audio baby monitor - you know, the one that tells you when your baby is awake" January 2008 |
"The monitor fits perfectly below the mattress of the moses basket and has been 100% accurate so far. It has never gone off by accident and always triggers when tested or if we pick our baby up and forget to turn it off. It gives us parents peace of mind so that we can sleep soundly even when he appears silent" January 2008 |
"It gives you peace of mind and allows you to sleep with confidence. It can be frightening when the batteries run down and the alarm sounds. Would be better with a different sound or tone (eg intermittent) for a low battery to distinguish it from the alarm" December 2007 |
"[good points] Peace of mind for the parents. [bad points] Forgetting to turn it off when I have picked up my son!" November 2007 |
"It is extremely sensitive. I was convinced it would not work under the mattress in our sons cot (because relatively thick) but it does:) It is very easy to put together and it is versatile in that you can also do just one plate in the pram when they are small. It is compact and simple to use and easy to travel with. Having lost a child at 5 days old (not due to SIDS) this device has given me the security I need to be able to sleep myself at night" October 2007 |
"Lets me sleep without worrying as baby was a very quiet sleeper. [bad points] Forgetting to turn it off in the middle of the night and it going off and waking the whole house!!" October 2007 |
"Clear green light flashes enough to reassure parents at night but not disturb them. It gives us the comfort of knowing that our baby was OK, it has meant a lot more sleep and a lot less worrying. We would recommend this to any new parents who are concerned about cot death. Our baby is not crawling yet however, so we have not used the sensor pad yet." October 2007 |
"It's so easy to use. It gives reassurance that baby is safe whilst asleep. Unit isn't very appealing and looks unattractive on the side of the cot. A remote alarm would be better e.g. so it could be moved around with the parent rather than attached to the cot." October 2007 |
"I bought this item for my grandchild, it has saved both their parents and I needless worry. My daughter says when she wakes and sees the green light on the monitor, she can go back to sleep, without the need to peek at the baby, and possibly disturb her" October 2007 |
"This is a peace of mind product, and so far I am pleased with it. The alarm has gone off a couple of times but only when we forgot to turn it off before taking the baby out of the cot, thus proving that it does work! I would recommend this product and I would buy it again. The only downside is the flashing green light on the alarm which is quite bright in the middle of the night, however, the baby can't see the light so its not a big problem." August 2007 |
"Excellent peace of mind for us as our baby was premature and had some breathing difficulties. Without this monitor I'm sure we would of had many a sleepless night. The on off button can be a little fiddly especially if you set the alarm off accidentally in the middle of the night." August 2007 |
"Easy to use and gave peace of mind when baby moved into own room" July 2007 |
"[good points] Large double mats. [bad points] Ugly interface" June 2007 |
"Peace of mind for mum and dad when it's baby's bedtime. The cost is quite expensive at a time when you have to buy everything else your new baby needs, but overall the product is worth buying" June 2007 |
"Gives you peace of mind that your baby is fine when asleep. [bad points] Occasional false alarms" June 2007 |
"Simple, effective, trouble free, peace of mind" February 2007 |
"I bought a monitor for one of my daughters in June and my second daughter who is expecting her baby anyday I have also bought one. It gives peace of mind" February 2007 |
"Reliable. No false alarms to date. Easy to use" February 2007 |
"Very easy to use just place under the mattress and hook up to the monitor. Although if you forget to turn it off when you take baby out of the cot to feed the alarm can wake everyone in the house. An excellent monitor and gives total peace of mind" February 2007 |
"No false alarms, easy to put together, complete peace of mind - handy having two plates - we can put one in his crib, the other under the carrycot so we only had to move the control panel - it is by far the best one on the market" January 2007 |
