The Wireless operation means that you can set up cameras anywhere in your home withough the hassle of wiring LAN cables. The BLC30 camera supports the high speed, IEEE802.11b/g54-Mbps / IEEE802.11b 11Mbps wireless communication protocol for fast transmission of recorded images to a distant PC. Please note that a wireless router / access point is required.
Remote Pan and Tilt
The Panasonic BLC30 has a unique pan and tilt feature which allows the user to adjust the direction of the lens both vertically and horizontally from a remote PC or even a mobile phone! This means that a single camera can monitor a much wider range of area than conventional fixed camera.
Colour Night View Mode
Camera will automatically switch into colour night view mode (1 lux) when the the light levels are not sufficient to see normal colour images. This is ideal if you are using the camera to watch over your child`s room as the Colour night view mode clearly shows their faces in a dark bedroom where the light would be insufficient for conventional cameras.
Human Detection Sensor
The built-in human detection sensor detects infra red rays emitted from heat sources such as a person or animal and sends a signal to begin recording the images. It can also send an email to your PC at work or mobile phone with an image attachment so you will know exactly what is happening anytime day or night.
Universal Plug and Play set up
The BLC30 Panasonic camera supports UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) for easy network setting when combined with a UPnP-compatible router. With the included software, the setup wizard guides you through the procedure and completes the network setup automatically. This eliminates complicated procedures and prevents possible setting errors.
Privacy Mode
If you use the camera only for monitoring the house while you are away you can disable it when you are at home by simply pressing the Privacy button on the front of the camera. A system administrator can also open and close the lens cover from a PC over the network.
Buffered Images
THe BLC30 can temporarily store approximately 250 images at medium resolution (320 x 240) in its internal memory so you can be rest assured you will never miss a thing in your home. Great for observing pets, house plants over a long time period. The image recording date and time can also be scheduled so you can see activities at specific times during the day.
