Returns Policy

We do not accept unauthorised returns. See below for authorisation instructions.

I don't want my purchase  - Refunds

First 7 Days after receipt - Our 7 day returns guarantee means that if you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us within 7 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund of the product value. We will not refund any shipping cost you paid.

 

I don't want my purchase  - Exchanges

Up to 28 days after receipt – Within 28 days we will also take products back in exchange for other products of similar or greater value. The products must be returned in as new condition and the cost of shipping will be your responsibility. Please note this is an exchange policy and cash refunds will not be given. Please also note that an administration fee of £3.95 will apply when returning goods for exchange outside of the 7 day refund period. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods.

Procedure.  We will send you a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) which you must include in your returned package. For your convenience we have produced a simple label with our returns address on which you should print and enclose within the package; click here to view and print it. We will only refund the cost of transit/postage where the return resulted from faulty goods or an error on our part.  If you return a faulty item using your own carrier we will only be able to refund a reasonable amount.

My product is faulty

We will exchange repair or refund a product which develops a defect during the first 28 days. After 28 days and within its warranty period, we will arrange for a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. For your convenience we have produced a simple label with our returns address label which you should print and enclose within the package; see "how to request a return" below.

Where goods are claimed to be faulty as a reason for return but are found not to be faulty when tested – we will send them back to you at your expense.

GUARANTEE: Electrical products purchased from BabyMonitorsDirect.co.uk are covered by a minimum of a 6 months guarantee or as per the manufacturer’s warranty. You must ensure returned goods are suitably packaged to avoid damage in transit and we will not accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please do not state products are faulty when requesting returns unless there is a genuine fault, as you will have to pay the cost of shipping non-faulty products back to you.

How to Request a Return

For your convenience, our site features an automated Return Request System. Just follow the following easy steps:

  1. Log into your account using the "My Account" link at the top right of every page (your account password was emailed to you when you first shopped with us; if you have lost your password please contact us). Then, choose "Completed Orders". Select the appropriate item(s) and click the "Return" button.
  2. Complete the simple form, choosing the reason why you'd like to return the items.
  3. Wait for a member of our Customer Services team to check the details of your returns request; once your request is authorised, you will be e-mailed full return instructions

Please note:

  • We never accept unauthorised returns. Please follow the steps above to obtain authorisation before sending us your item(s).
  • We cannot accept responsibility for Returns until they arrive safely in our warehouse.
  • It may take up to 14 days from receipt in our warehouse for each individual return to be processed.
  • We will only refund the reasonable cost of transit/postage (up to £5.95) where goods are confirmed faulty or following an error on our part.
