I just purchased, a week ago, two air purifiers XJ-2100UV. Thus far I am very pleased. We haven't had them long enough to see just how effective they'll be. In another two weeks, I'll remove the filter and examine. If it has captured a goodly amt of particles, I'll know I've made a wise choice. As for its sound, it is extremely silent. I have it on, with fan on highest setting, and challenge anyone to hear anything! It's as though the machine isn't even on! My son walked into the room 2 days after we turned it on, and exclaimed "The room smells different. There's definitely a difference. No cigar odor,or any odor at all, for that matter!! I knew right then, we'd made a good buy.

I purchased a combo with 3 Heaven Fresh Ionic Air Purifiers XJ-2100UV and a XJ-201 as a free gift. We had put one in the living room, one in the dining room , one in the office and one in the bathroom. My husband and I both smoke. After a week and a half we checked the dust collector plates. Not only there was dust but we coulndt believe the accumulation of the tar from the cigarette smoke.

All the bad smell is gone and the air in the house is fresh. Its amazing.
