This device is extremely helpful for parents. I regret not having bought it earlier.
I had noticed that my 7-month-old baby was tossing in her bed. I immediately ran into her room to see if she was Ok but seeing her mum in the room meant "happy time" so she woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. Now that I use this babymonitor she cannot see me (while I CAN!) and she if she wakes up in the middle of the night she gets back to sleep as she can understand it's still bedtime!

I will be using this product for my baby who is due in 5 weeks. i tested it out on my dog though and the picture quality is great! even in the dark. the sound is quite quiet but the talkback function is very good. i havent had a chance to try out the lullabies but i imagine these will be ok. i like the fact the temperature is displayed on the screen although i may still get a room thermometer. i havent tried the unit in the TV yet so cant comment but find this a nice function specially seeing as you can record with this unit. i imagine this makes playback alot easier!! the only glitch i would say is that when the parent unit is in the same room as the camera there is a high pitch screetching noise. im guessing this is interferance but i may be doing some thing wrong and need to refer to the manual. There is also a nightlight on the camera that can be switched on and off via the parent unit which will be useful when you dont want to disturb baby and want to save electricity too. all in all this seems like a great monitor but till the baby comes and i can test it for real this is all i can say.
