We've had one of these for the past year but the power pin broke (monitor purchased from another outlet). We had no qualms about ordering a replacement. We have twins so need to view two babies at the same time. The pan function works great for us as the boys share a room...but we're soon going to move them into their own rooms so will use a second camera...another great feature.

I have had one of these cameras for over a year and I feel in a strong position to write review now. This is the most fantastic camera which makes it possible to see your baby day or night while in the cot. It has a great swivel option when little one moves about you can find them and if like my daughter, your child is crying, you can tell if they are asleep or not. I was waking my daughter up in the night when he was having a bad dream (and making it worse) and now she settles back to sleep land.
It has travelled all over the world with us and we have ended up buying these for all our friends with kids.

We wrote a review saying this monitor is unreliable. It's true that the first one we bought failed within weeks. However we took the back off the monitor of the one that has just stopped working after 9 months and discovered that the rechargable batteries are the AA ones that can be bought in a electronics shop. So we replaced and the batteries and hey presto, it's working fine again.
The other good thing to mention is the ability to rotate the camera position remotely, meaning you don't have to get the camera in the right position before leaving the baby's room. It also makes it possible to position the camera reasonably close to the cot (if that's the only way your nursery will allow) and still track where your baby is and what he or she is up to!
