2 MHz Transducer Probe
An 'active scan' LCD mode giving 'real time' fetal heartbeat
Cross-zero algorithms to deliver a stable fetal heartbeat rate readout
Triple Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) authentication, giving the user alternative interactive options for confirming the truest heartbeat readout
Large clear LCD screen displaying your baby's heart rate, the mode selected, the type of probe, a battery level indicator and whether BabySonic is recording or playing
Power button which puts BabySonic on stand-by, waiting for the probe to be put into position or allow you to select another mode. After 1-minute of no signal the BabySonic turns off
Start/stop button for manual mode 3
Mode select button to select the mode you require, it will enter mode 1 automatically after self-testing. Pressing the button again will switch to mode 2, then mode 3
Volume dial allows you adjust the sound to your needs
Earphone socket can be connected to a PC or laptop for recording

Very clear sound which avoided any panic at not finding the heartbeat. Easy to read instructions and easy to use design

Found the heartbeat from 10 weeks, very easy to use and great for reassurance. [bad points] None that I can think of. Maybe a little pricey

Good size, good display, ability to use in water. [bad points] Too easy to turn on accidentally and one has to get used to holding down button to turn off

Brilliant, after having a miscarriage last year it has helped me through this pregnancy so much. Batteries don't seem to last long

Easy to read. Compared to other dopplers, this is quite sensitive, sometimes takes a while to locate the FH

Although an expensive purchase initially, I am glad I bought this. I wasn't able to pick up the baby's heartbeat until about 18 weeks so time before then was frustrating but as she grown, I can now find it easily. It's very reassuring for the days she is feeling lazy and as I was travelling a lot and an anxious first time mum, I could check on her whenever I wanted to. I highly recommend this product. I expected to be able to pick up baby's heartbeat earlier so don't get frustrated if you only pick up your own heartbeat for a while.

Gives instant peace of mind. Wonderful to hear baby so clearly and can be used from early on in pregnancy. Quite expensive! It is worth the price but on top of all the other things you need to buy at this time it is an expense that not everyone could stretch to. Can be difficult to find baby when it is small and can lead to worry (but any monitor would be the same
