“I would choose it over any other because it has made me feel totally comfortable during the night knowing my baby is sleeping safely.” (Tested By Mothers for Mother & Baby Awards 2017)
Remote-controlled pan and tilt cameras will allow you to keep an eye on your little one, whether they are sleeping in a cot or moving around their room, all controlled from the large monitor screen. With a two-way communication talk-back function and four different in-built lullabies, you can soothe your baby from a different room while still ensuring that their night’s sleep is both peaceful and relaxed. In addition to this, the included VOX function will alert you when your baby makes a sound and the LED lights will provide you with a visual indication of this. You can feel confident that you will never miss a thing.
This monitor can support up to four cameras at the same time (additional cameras sold separately) with the split screen and quad video viewing options, which allows you to monitor multiple rooms at the same time with just a single screen. This bundle includes two cameras, so you can cover every little corner. Each camera also supports the integrated infrared night vision and room temperature monitoring to provide you with all the information you need for that complete peace of mind. The Luvion Prestige Touch 2 Twin Camera Video Baby Monitor is also capable of recording footage onto an SD card, perfect for reviewing your child’s movements during the night. For added ease, the included cameras can be self-standing or wall-mounted to achieve the best possible angle of your baby always.

After researching the heck out of baby monitors (non-wifi) to replace our ageing motorola and to support 2 cameras, we were eventuality torn between the Homiee and the Luvion Prestige Touch 2.
After reading the great reviews, we initially went with the Homiee. In short, although the cute camera (which is quite large) has a great range of motion, the picture quality was quite disappointing. It didn’t help that the infra red lights didn’t work either on ours. The screen felt very small on a monitor so large and it just felt a bit, well, cheap. The lullubies aren’t great either. With that initial unimpressed feeling and due to the fact the infra red night vision wasn’t working, we returned the Homiee and decided to try the Luvion.
Wow, what a difference! The screen size on the Prestige Touch 2 is great (7″) and the smooth HD picture quality, night vision and sound are amazing! The lullabies are actually pretty soothing, and there are many more features such as split screen and scan between cameras (there is no split screen on the Homiee and scan is 10 seconds between cameras, which seems like an age). You can switch off the screen and have just sound if you don’t like the light of the monitor at night, or you can have it in a standby mode which will engage the screen and audio if sound is detected on any camera. Battery life seems decent enough too, certainly for an evening unplugged downstairs.
Despite reading negative reviews regarding very short camera cable, I was happy to find that this wasn’t the case. The cable is about 170-180cm, enough to have on a wardrobe or high up on a wall. If having the camera high up on a flat surface, the downward range of camera movement isn’t anywhere as good as the Homiee, so you’ll have to angle it down using some bent card or similar.
Comparing the two monitors overall, everything just looked and felt much more premium with the Luvion. Yes, it is more money, but I reckon it’s worth it for the peace of mind of seeing the little ones clearly at a glance (at this time it’s cheapest on this site, especially with the January offer code).
